Clinical Supervision & Consulting Services

Clinical Supervision

Dr Butrus is a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor with AHPRA and has many years of experience providing clinical supervision and consultation to psychologists, registrars and students. Dr Butrus also provides clinical supervision and consultation services to organisations.


Dr Butrus is known for her experience with psychological assessment and treatment of complex cases, notably cases involving issues pertaining to DSM-5 diagnosis, formulation, personality disorders, violence, and behaviours of concern (e.g., self-harming behaviour). 


Supervision sessions are currently provided remotely via online/telehealth videoconferencing, thus enhancing availability and access across Australia.

  • One-off supervision session for a specific issue
  • Clinical supervision in the area of clinical psychology
  • Forensic supervision in the area of forensic psychology
  • Supervision of Provisional Psychologists

  • Supervision on assessment and diagnosis of DSM-5 psychological disorders
  • Supervision on case formulation and treatment planning
  • Supervision for personality assessments
  • Supervision for violence risk assessments and forensic psychological assessments
  • Supervision for offence-specific treatment and offending behaviours
  • Supervision for violent offender assessment and violent offender treatment
  • Supervision for group therapy or a group program
  • Supervision for reflective practice
  • Supervision for ethical and/or professional issues
  • Supervision for professional boards
  • Supervision and consultation for organisations.

Consulting Services


With years of experience designing clinical and forensic programs for service delivery in complex service delivery environments, Dr Butrus can also perform consulting work for organisations seeking clinical and/or forensic psychological consultation, service reviews, program design, program development and program evaluations.


Some examples of consulting services include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting a service review
  • Designing a clinical/forensic services program
  • Developing a manualised clinical/forensic behaviour change program
  • Developing clinical/forensic service delivery processes, procedures, guidelines and manuals
